My Ring Collection

Hello everyone! So I haven't mentioned this before, but I have a slight addiction. Now some of you might laugh at me because this isn't an addiction that can harm anything except my bank account. I am obsessed with rings. I'm that gypsy girl with rings on almost all of her fingers. I'm like Phoebe from Friends (although she probably stole most of those rings during her mugging days). I love her thrifty fashion and I'm obsessed with the gems on her fingers.

Anyways, I thought some of you would like to see some of my collection. These beauties have been accumulated over a few years. My family and friends tend to gift me a new ring for my birthday or Christmas since I tend to have an expensive taste. There are a few rings in my collection that aren't too pricy like the ones from World Market and Urban Outfitters. So here's a look into my bowl of treasures!!

These are my all time favorite rings that I have collected over the years. These are a bit expensive, but if you wear them as much as I do, it's all worth it!

BACK ROW:
1. This first one is a simple sterling silver heart design. I was given this one by my grandparents and I'm not too sure were they got it.
2. The next one is an aztec inspired piece from Silpada that I got when I was about 16. I wear this one on my left pointer finger as it has deformed to that finger only. Does that happen to anyone else??
3. This one is a swirly design that I instantly fell in love with. It has a thicker band, which can get a bit annoying. But beauty is pain, amiright ladies?!
4. Buying the tall snake ring is honestly the best decision I've ever made. If I had to wear only one ring, it would be this one. It makes any outfit x10 better and I just love it no matter how much I had to spend on it.
5. Next is a ring I bought in Chicago at a Macy's- it's a weird combination of hearts and blah. Basically it looks cool, so I wear it.
6. The far right ring is a celtic ring I found in a beach shop in Grand Haven.

FRONT ROW:
The front two rings are the most valuable rings I own. I love these two simply because they were given to me by people I love. The spiral one on the bottom matches a bracelet that my mom has. We travel to the same island every year and a few summers ago we got matching pieces that symbolize that we will always come back to the place we love: Jekyll Island. The ring on the top was given to me by my dearest friend, Cortney. It was my graduation gift and on the inner band is DFWYB (Don't forget where you belong). My three friends and I had a slight obsession with this song our senior year as we were leaving for college soon and we were scared shitless. This is one of the most meaningful gifts I have ever been given.

In the picture above are all of rings I've collected over the years. Amongst this bunch is a set of gold midi rings from Urban Outfitters which I adore. The rest of them are from Forever 21, Francesca's, and World Market. I love mixing the gold midi rings with my regular sterling silver rings. Adding midi rings into the mix is a quick and easy way to raise your ring game on a night out.

These are the three rings I wear most of the time on my right hand. The pointer finger and the middle finger one's are my all-time favorites. They just fit my fingers perfectly and I love the way they look next to one another. This is the only picture I could find of me wearing the rings sorry I could only get the one hand. My left hand usually has the swirly Silpada ring on my pointer finger and the celtic ring on my ring finger. (Book-American Dervish for my religion class blah)

If you got this far, thank you for reading! Hope you enjoyed and have a good weekend.

Lots of love,

Live Love Lush

It's bath time everyone! I just recently took yet another trip to the lush store and here are some of bath products I picked up. Both of these products are limited addition for the Spring Easter collection.

How cute is this little guy? This one is called Bubblegrub is an adorable caterpillar that is filled with
organic shea butter that makes my skin silky smooth! This bubble bar smells just like chocolate and
the eyes are actually made out of two kinds of chocolate for a sweet and creamy bath. This critter made my bath super bubbly and my skin was very hydrated due to the creamy ingredients. I smelled like sweet vanilla after taking this moisturizing bath. The scent was not too strong like other bubble bars I've used. This guy is only here for the spring so get him while you can!!

I also picked up the Fluffy Egg bath bomb as Easter is on its way and I was feeling festive. This is simply an amazing bath bomb. It's bright pink color and cotton candy scent are the perfect combination for spring. This sweet bomb smells a bit like the Comforter or the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar.

I love indulging in a bath every once in a while and taking time for my self to relax. If any of you are stressing, take time to detox and reenergize yourself with a lush bath of your choice. It is hard to detach yourself from reality but, trust me I know and I'm a college student. After taking time for yourself, you won't regret it because you will feel x100 better. Lush is one of my favorite stores so there will probably be more posts like this in the future. Hope you enjoyed this review.

Stay beautiful lovelies

Current Favorite Face Products

Hello Lovelies!
This winter has been cold, long, and to be quite honest I'm counting down the days until summer. This cold weather has taken its toll on my skin. My face is constantly dry and everything I put on it absorbs immediately. Luckily, I have found some great products to save me from the dry winter weather. These have been my staple face products that I have been using this winter!

1. Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion  - After washing my face, I apply the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion. I use a good amount of this moisturizer to my entire face and massage it into my skin until its silky smooth. This is a great cream moisturizer that doesn't leave my face feeling sticky or oily. My skin feels replenished and super soft after applying this product. This is a necessary lotion for anyone trying to get through the winter months. It is a staple product that I use every day.

2. POREfessional - After moisturizing my skin, I apply pore-fessional by Benefit to my t-zone. This primer is not only a great base for make-up, but also minimizes imperfections. It covers up all my pores and blackheads. It also blends into the skin very nicely and a little goes a long way! This is a must-have for anyone with large pores like me. It drastically minimizes the appearance of my pores and with the help from a little bit of powder, my pores disappear completely!

3. All-In-One BB Cream - After using the Porefessional, I apply the All-In-One BB Cream from The Body Shop. I'm not the biggest fan of heavy things on my face like foundation, so this BB cream does the trick. It's very light and has just enough coverage to even out your skin tone. It comes out of the tube as a creamy white cream and as you apply the product, it adjusts it's tint to your skin tone. I love this because I don't have to worry about my face looking
darker than the rest of my skin.

4. Wake Me Up Concealer - For my under eye concealer, I stick to the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer. It brightens my under and inner eyes and I occasionally use it under my nose area where I have some redness. I have this product in just about all of the shades because I use it through every season. This concealer brightens the dark circles under my eyes and can easily cover up spots. This is an essential concealer and it's affordable for anyone. I also use this concealer to brighten up the red patches on my skin.

5. Stay Matte Powder - Finally, I powder my face. This is my favorite part because it leaves my face looking flawless and I love this powder. I use the Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder and it is the best thing I've ever put on my face. I have about four of these bad boys in my makeup bag in about every shade. If I'm in a hurry I apply some concealer and this powder and I'm out the door. This powder is so cheap, it costs less than a Starbucks drink! It keeps my face from getting oily and leaves it with a good matte finish. There are tinted powders and there is also a translucent powder if you just want the matte finished look.

I hope you enjoyed reading! These products are not too hard on the skin and they are very affordable.

Love you lots.

Meg
