Hello all. Hope you're doing better than I am. As some of you may assume from the title of this post, it is finals week. YAY. I'm exhausted and pretty sure I'm coming down with a cold. I am overwhelmed with emotions and snot. There is nothing glamorous about this post. The cramming starts today and I can't believing in a week I'll be packing up all of my stuff. There are a few things I need in order to survive finals weeks. Here are a few of the things I'm going to be using and consuming in order to get through this week.

1. Coffee: An obvious essential for studying for exams. Our library has a free Keurig machine so that's pretty dangerous.
2. Tissues: Because sick as fuck and I don't want to get my friends sick.
3. Cough Drops: So I don't sound like an old dying man lolz
4. Ice Cream: Calories don't count exam week. And ice cream makes me a happy kid.
5. Leggings: Make sure you have a shit ton of leggings clean because who wants to study all day in tight jeans. Ew.
6. All of your cords for all devices: You never know when something is going to run out of battery and everything is x10 more tragic when you're running on 4 hours of sleep.
7. A study spot: Change it up everyday, so you don't get bored.
8. Arts and Crafts: Do crafty things with your friends for study breaks.
9. Cookies: All women's colleges know the way to our hearts. There are cookies on every surface in every building for FREE. Remember: calories don't count, so take like 5.
10. Bra: Don't even try to wear a real bra. Wash up your sports bras and have them handy for each day. Note: no one gives a flying shit what you look like especially during finals week
11. Music: Make a finals playlist to make studying less miserable. We listened to Christmas music last semester. Disney music, Enya, or chill acoustic music is the perfect study music.
12. Furry Friend?: If you don't have a dog or cat living with you because college. Go play with the squirrels. There everywhere and ours are quite friendly. This can relieve stress.
13. Exercise: Run your little heart out. It releases lots of energy and makes you feel a lot better. It also helps if you have anxiety like me.
14. Water: Switch between water and coffee to stay awake and hydrated!
15. Friends: The most important component of doing well on your finals. Set up times to study with your friends and it will make it seems easier. Take over a classroom, go outside, drive to Starbucks. Take time to yourselves and plan out fun things to do for study breaks.

There are a lot more, but these were just some of the ones I came up with!

Now for a little goodbye to my home for the past eight months. I am going to miss this campus, my classes, and all of my friends. This year has been one of the best years of my life. I can honestly say I've learned so much about myself and I love who I have become. I feel so strong and confident here. Coming to an all women's college was the best decision I've ever made. I can't believe in a week I'll be packing all my stuff into my parent's car. I am excited to go home and reunite with my family and friends this summer. But this place is slowly becoming my home and I couldn't be happier.

Hi friends! Hope you're all having a good week! This week has been quite relaxed for me and I've recently revisited my old Spotify playlists from years ago. I realized how much I miss the artists I used to listen to everyday after school while I was doing homework. Also, I have discovered some sick artists the past few weeks so I thought I'd write a little post about these artists.





1. Elevate, St. Lucia
This one is a mix between futuristic and tropical. It's super chill and has a nice beat. I love the introduction to this. It comes at you all at once in the beginning and drizzles out throughout the song. It's just one of those songs that has awesome instrumentals and I like it simply because it sounds sick.

2. Afternoon, Youth Lagoon
Another oldie. This artist basically got me through sophomore and junior year of high school. I was obsessed with his first album The Year of Hibernation. His voice sounds so weird and different from anything I've ever heard before and this song has the sickest beat. Just listen to it, you'll know what I'm talking about.

3. Marilyn, G-Eazy (feat. Dominque Le Jeune)
Marilyn is a duet between G-Eazy and Dominque Le Jeune. It's very romantic for G-Eazy and I love the lyrics. Its a love story that everyone can relate to and they're voices compliment each other very well.

4. Drowning, Banks
This one is pretty grungy I guess you could say. It's not a song that everyone will absolutely love, but I like the instrumentals and her soft voice. Her album Goddess is one of my go to's for homework because it's so chill.

5. This Is What Makes Us Girls,

 Lana Del Rey
I love Lana so much. This song is beautifully written and her voice along with it is perfect. I can relate to everything she is talking about in this song and it's a pretty catchy. I want to see her in concert so freaking bad.

6. Higher Love, James Vincent McMorrow

Here's an oldie. This one give me the chills every time. His voice is beautiful and this is just a simple song with beautiful lyrics. It's kinda sad, but truly inspiring.







7.  Happy Little Pill, Troye Sivan
This kid is so fucking cute and he knows it. I'm so incredibly proud of this man (he's still a boy to me) for everything he has accomplished and I genuinely love this track. He is so passionate about writing and conveying his feelings through his songs.

8. Me, The 1975
Let's be honest. This band is killing it right now. Other than the main popular ones, this song is one of my favorites. Matty (my future husband) sounds different in this song. His voice is super deep and raspy and it just makes me want to melt.

9. Wings, Birdy
Birdy has such a beautiful and delicate voice. I've always been a fan of her and this is one of her newest singles. This song has such an amazing climax and it's so powerful.

10. Sophie, Benjamin Francis Leftwich
I don't know why I like this song. It is just really pretty and meaningful and powerful and I wish someone would write something like this for me.

Sorry if those little blurbs were awkward, I'm not good at describing sounds or songs really. If you're looking for some chill songs I would highly recommend checking out any of these artists. Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring weather. I had a nice, relaxing weekend at home with some family and friends a couple weeks ago for Easter break. Now, I'm ready to push through this last month of school and get back home for the summer!!

Now onto the reason for this post. I was recently gifted the Naked Basics 2 Palette and it is a BEAUTIFUL palette! I've never been much of a shimmer girl so this selection of neutral matte colors are perfect for me.

Skimp has a bit of shimmer, but I use it as a highlighter under my brows. Stark is the next shade and covers up the purple discoloration on my lids. It is a perfect color for brightening up my eyes!
Frisk (can I just say I just LOVE the names for these colors.. I'm weird I know..) is a taupe color with a slight gray undertone. Although it looks pretty brown in the palette, it has a grayish tint to it. It adds a good smokey effect to the eye. Next is the color called Cover and its just a nice coffee shade that I usually put in my crease. Primal has a bit more brown in it and I use just a bit because a little goes a long way. I'm going to be honest and say I'm not one to wear dark colors like black on my eyes. However, I have lined my eyes with Undone a few times and I love the way it looks on my eyes. All of these eye shadows glide onto my eyes super easy and they are so smooth.

I think the best way to use this palette is by using a variation of the colors because they look amazing
together. I've been using this palette for weeks and I am loving it! It's super small for travel and has just the right colors for daily wear. This is my new favorite addition to my makeup bag.

Hi friends! It's pretty late right now and I keep jamming in my dorm room to the same song over and over so I thought I should write a post on it. It's a sick song in my opinion. It's called Tumblr Girls by G-Easy. Basically I found this song on tumblr/half the kids I know are obsessed with G-Easy. I've always liked rap music, but lately I've been listening to more chill study music. I tend to go in and out of stages on my spotify playlist. This song starts out stereotyping all the tumblr girls.. Let's be honest most of the girls on tumblr are 13 year olds acting like they're 20 year old depressed anorexic models. I'll admit tumblr can be a bit depressing at times, but I love connecting with others through everyday photos and sayings. My tumblr is like a personal photo blog. I even made a gif of the music video because I have no life and I thought the video was one of the coolest music videos. It's like a tumblr video. And I love tumblr and music so it's like the perfect combo. Enough of my rambling. Listen to this song and I can assure you will enjoy yourself if you have any sort of emotion. Just kidding. Hello lovelies! This week has been hectic, but also very exciting. With finals approaching, I've started planning for next year... Where I'm going to live, who I'm going to dorm with, and what classes I'm going to take are all questions I've been asking myself this past month.

There is one exciting bit of information I'm leaving out... I've recently been working on an application for study abroad next year. Today, I had an interview with the director of the program and I was accepted!!!
